- The Pantheon
- Architecture is a temple covered with stucco and marble.
- Oculus on top (rounded ceiling with an opening).
- Strong concrete due to the chambers in the walls of the building.
2. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?
This video relates to the readings of the text because of the
discussion of the ancient Greek and Roman architecture in detail, very much
like what is read in the text.
3. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of Architecture?
I felt that this video added more depth to my understanding of
these ancient forms of architecture because of the detail that is discussed, as
well as the visuals provided through the format of a video.
4. Why did you choose the films that you watched?
I chose to watch this video because I wanted to learn more about
the ancient architecture of the buildings that have inspired the modern day
architecture of many of the buildings that we see throughout the world today.
It is very fascinating.
